InTheReeds started because I wanted to share carp fishing the way I actually fish it — simple, honest, and without the noise.

No over complication. No hype Just rigs, thinking, and lessons learned on real UK waters.

I’ve spent years refining what works for me, and this is where I put it all in one place.

How it started.

In 2025, I decided to take it seriously. Not to become a tackle salesman or a “pro”, but to build something useful for other anglers who fish the same way I do — learning as they go, adapting to conditions, and trusting their own watercraft.

I started InTheReeds because the moment I caught my first fish, I was hooked—no pun intended. It wasn’t just the adrenaline rush that got me, but the peace and freedom of being out in nature. For me, carp fishing isn’t just sitting on the bank—it’s a game of strategy, patience, and skill.

 

My dream is to grow InTheReeds from TikTok and YouTube into a full-fledged brand: a website, a tackle shop, and eventually my very own fishery. It’s about sharing the thrill, the calm, and the community of carp fishing with others who love it as much as I do.
